Every Thursday, Fri, Sat and Sun 12/4 through 12/28: Enjoy a walk through the picnic area at the park while it is lit up with lights and decorations all created by Sedona businesses, organizations and community members. Safe & Fun Trick or Treat in Uptown Sedona will be on Halloween from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This annual event when Sedona Main Street Uptown Merchants welcome all good ghouls and ghosts to visit their storefronts along Main Street (State Route 89A) in Uptown for great treats! These merchants have a longstanding tradition of good will, providing this safe and fun Halloween celebration. This free to enjoy event is the kick-off event for Sedona Arts Center’s Annual Plein Air Festival, a week-long festival and Sponsored by Sedona Main Street Program. It’s a great opportunity to see all the participating and nationally recognized Plein Air Artists in one place. Open Studios Tour – 4th week end in April every year. This event is a celebration of the arts in the greater Verde Valley. This non-profit, artist-run event is free & provides visitors a unique opportunity to meet the artists and gain a first-hand view of their creative processes. There will be over 40 studios participating, working in a variety of mediums, such as: ceramics, painting, fiber, photography, jewelry, watercolors, and sculpture. The event is from 10 am to 5 pm daily.
Sessions are customized to fit each request. A family, romantic, or celebratory theme is set in a creative environment with art instruction based on your needs. You will create a piece of ceramic pottery or sculpture that will become a lasting memory. All pieces are shipped to you after firing.

The 46th Annual Sedona St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival on Saturday, March 12th is a cultural-heritage celebration that is free to attend. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. along Jordan Road from Jordan Historical Park to Mesquite Avenue. The free Festival begins immediately following the parade, featuring family activities and food booths until 3 p.m. This event is presented by Sedona Main Street Program, NAU Parks and Recreation Program and the Sedona Green Team. In October the Sedona Arts Center presents a week-long celebration of Sedona’s extraordinary beauty as seen through the eyes and talent of thirty of the finest painters in the country. “En Plein Air”, a French term that translates to “in the open air”, describes paintings that have been created outdoors rather than in a studio. The spectacular red rock scenery and temperate climate of Sedona create the perfect location for plein air painting. Artists will be seen all over town.
