Celebration of Spring

This is much more than just an egg hunt, this is a Celebration of Spring! Join us for this fun, action packed event for families and all those in the community that enjoy spring and the beautiful outdoors. Petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, carnival rides, duck races and much more.

Sedona Hummingbird Festival

The Sedona Hummingbird Festival celebrates Sedona’s peak hummingbird population in August with entertaining and educational presentations, tours of gardens and hotspots, a hummer/nature shopping mall, and banding demonstrations and birding trips; sponsored by the International Hummingbird Society.

Sedona Bike & Brew Festival

Sedona Golf Resort is hosting The Sedona Bike & Brew Festival Aug. 26th – 27th, 2016. This 3rd year event is believed to be the first of its kind, a Mountain Bike Race that is hosted ON A GOLF COURSE! Races will start August 27th at 8:00AM.

Tinsel Town at Posse Ground

Every Thursday, Fri, Sat and Sun 12/4 through 12/28: Enjoy a walk through the picnic area at the park while it is lit up with lights and decorations all created by Sedona businesses, organizations and community members. Light displays will be turned on every Thurs. through Sun. evening in December, 6 to 9 p.m. On given nights additional attractions may be available (caroling, hot coco, etc.) If you would like to participate in this wonderful event in some way, please contact us (928) 282-7098.

The Sedona Visual Artists’ Coalition Open Studios

Open Studios Tour – 4th week end in April every year. This event is a celebration of the arts in the greater Verde Valley. This non-profit, artist-run event is free & provides visitors a unique opportunity to meet the artists and gain a first-hand view of their creative processes. There will be over 40 studios participating, working in a variety of mediums, such as: ceramics, painting, fiber, photography, jewelry, watercolors, and sculpture. The event is from 10 am to 5 pm daily.

Sedona Yoga Festival – A Consciousness Evolution Conference

SYF provides the keys to unlocking your greatest transformation with a focus on yoga and the expansion of consciousness. This conference is a world class opportunity for you to deepen your practice and tap into ancient wisdom with 3 days and 3 nights of yoga, meditation, hiking and energy medicine.

Sedona Arts Festival

Held on the campus of Sedona Red Rock High School – A favorite in the Southwest, the festival showcases 126 juried artists, the Gourmet Gallery, an international guest artist, and KidZone, as well as great music, food, and raffle prizes. Admission supports arts education in our community.

Sedona’s Safe & Fun Trick or Treat Uptown

Safe & Fun Trick or Treat in Uptown Sedona will be on Halloween from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This annual event when Sedona Main Street Uptown Merchants welcome all good ghouls and ghosts to visit their storefronts along Main Street (State Route 89A) in Uptown for great treats! These merchants have a longstanding tradition of good will, providing this safe and fun Halloween celebration. This free community event is coordinated by Sedona Main Street Program for a howling good time.

The Great Sedona Chili Cook Off

The Rotary Club of Sedona is excited to announce the Sixth Annual Great Sedona Chili Cook-Off scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, a part of the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta weekend.

Sedona International Film Festival & Workshop

Sedona Plein Air Festival

In October the Sedona Arts Center presents a week-long celebration of Sedona’s extraordinary beauty as seen through the eyes and talent of thirty of the finest painters in the country. “En Plein Air”, a French term that translates to “in the open air”, describes paintings that have been created outdoors rather than in a studio. The spectacular red rock scenery and temperate climate of Sedona create the perfect location for plein air painting. Artists will be seen all over town.

National Day of The Cowboy Celebration

In Uptown Sedona, usually the weekend of the fourth Saturday of July. Enjoy “cowboy going’s on”: gunfights, roping, action shooting, re-enactments, musical revue, storytelling, poetry, costume contest. Free event presented by Sedona Main Street Program, Red Rock Posse and area businesses.

Sedona Marathon Event

Save The Date for the 12th Annual Sedona Marathon Event will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017. The Sedona Marathon Event will feature four distances sure to take your breath away: 5K, 10K, Half, and Full Marathon. This scenic race attracts athletes from around the globe to enjoy Sedonas red rocks up close and personal. If the scenery doesn’t take your breath away, the hills will! Registration will open in September 1, 2016.

Sedona’s Paint Out on Main Street

This free to enjoy event is the kick-off event for Sedona Arts Center’s Annual Plein Air Festival, a week-long festival and Sponsored by Sedona Main Street Program. It’s a great opportunity to see all the participating and nationally recognized Plein Air Artists in one place. Each artist is challenged to create a painting from start to finish in 2 ½ hours, using a subject in their surroundings along the sidewalks & plazas in Uptown and the Main Street District of Sedona.

12×12 Fundraiser

Art is always the centerpiece of the Sedona Arts Center events and this one, The 12×12 Project, features 12″ by 12″ works by nealry 100 nationally renowned artists for only $250 each! Show and sale are Saturday. The event is a fun way to support the Arts Center’s valuable arts education programs and community arts outreach projects. Sedona’s Tree Lighting & Santa Visit

Sedona’s Tree Lighting & Santa Visit kicks off the holiday season. Live entertainment, activities and refreshments will be available from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the plaza on State Route 89A in Uptown with the 20′ holiday tree. Come hear holiday favorites from musical and performing groups and let your youngsters tell Santa all their hopes and dreams.

4th of July Community Celebration

A patriotic themed laser light show will begin at the top of each hour (12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00p.m., and 3:00 p.m.) in the Performing Arts Center. Each show is 25 minutes in duration. Parking will be available at Red Rock High School. . Food vendors will be announced closer to the event time. Signage and Police Officers will be directing traffic. Red Rocks Oktoberfest

The Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks presents this Autumn craft beer festival on October 22 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Posse Grounds Park. 12+ craft breweries, wine, food, music and FUN! Wear your lederhosen or dirndl and join the crowds – all proceeds raised fund scholarships for Sedona kids.

Sedona St Patrick’s Parade & Festival

The 46th Annual Sedona St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival on Saturday, March 12th is a cultural-heritage celebration that is free to attend. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. along Jordan Road from Jordan Historical Park to Mesquite Avenue. The free Festival begins immediately following the parade, featuring family activities and food booths until 3 p.m. This event is presented by Sedona Main Street Program, NAU Parks and Recreation Program and the Sedona Green Team. Sedona PhotoFest

Sedona PhotoFest is a series of educational and inspiring presentations on photographic technique, use of digital software and personal artistic perspectives from some of the top photographers in the country. The event takes place over two days in May at the Sedona Performing Arts Center.
