Sedona Trail Keepers – Sponsors
Together we generated $250,000 to Maintain & Expand our Trails
The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau in conjunction with the City of Sedona, the US Forest Service and the local business community is working to preserve our natural landscape for generations to come.
Twenty five of our local businesses and organizations worked together to meet our goal and sponsor a trail by financially committing to sustain and maintain existing trails. The investment will also assist in design and construction of new trails in the USFS Red Rock Ranger District. The goal is for each sponsor to commit $1000 per year for five years for a total of $5000. The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau will match the private sector investment (up to $25,000 per year), generating $250,000 by 2021! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, read more.
“The annual investment from the Trail Keepers program will be instrumental in sustaining the Red Rock Ranger District trail system,” said Adam Barnett, Recreation Program Manager, Coconino National Forest, Red Rock Ranger District. “By sharing the responsibility with the local business community and residents, we will all have a role in protecting and maintaining the 300-plus miles of trails for future generations to enjoy.”
